Many people might not realise the difference between sultanas and raisins, essentially they are produced from the same Thompson grape variety, however a raisin is dried naturally, as opposed to a sultana which is often dipped in oil and potassium carbonate to speed up the drying process. Given our commitment to slow food, we will always choose raisins over sultanas.

These raisins are certified biodynamic and grow around Robinvale which is on the banks of the Murray river in north western Victoria.

If you're wondering what to do with all these raisins (apart from, well, just eating a handful), they're a great way to sweeten homemade muesli and add a bit of chewie texture to salads, also a goodie for a naughty-but-nice lunchbox treat, plus an easy addition to a last-minute cheese board when unexpected guests drop around.
