This Premium Black Whole Leaf Tea is grown by Brendon and Kristie Collins in Bellthorpe, south-west of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, which has good elevation and rainfall, fertile soils and the right acidity required for growing the Cameillia Sinesis tea plant.
This is really nice tea that has won 'Best Australian Black Tea' in the Australian Tea Masters' Golden Leaf awards. It's grown in our own backyard, rather than being shipped from the other side of the world. If there's one thing we can do to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions it's reducing the miles that our food has travelled wherever we can.
In a nod to our grandparent's generation, why not take the time to make a proper cup of tea, brew the leaves in a teapot, leave them to steep and pour into nice teacups over good conversation, or simply a moment of quiet solitude.
Tea is incredibly light so a kilogram will go a very long way - years and years, even if you split the order with a friend, unless she's English.
RRP price comparison - usually $25 for 125g.
Contains caffeine. May contain traces of other allergens.

Best to store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. You might even want to store in the fridge if you live in a warm climate. The tea should last for up to two years if stored correctly. See best before date.
